I've finally learned how to make so called "mormorsrutor" (whatever it's called in english...), I'm so proud!

  1. They are called "granny squares" in America at least. :-)

    1. Ah. it's that simple! Mormorsrutor literally means "granny squares" in swedish, but I thought that was just a local name... I wonder where the name originally came from? Who the original granny was? ;)

  2. It´s nice that they have a name in english and swedish, my friends that use to crochet call them "grannies" as there is no name for those beautiful squares in spanish...
